I had the cutest woodland themed baby shower for my little girl last weekend, and I thought it would be fun to share some details!
My mom and little sister did most of the work, but I helped with the decor… I couldn’t help myself! It was all DIY, and so much fun and easy to put together.
We decorated my mom’s living room fireplace with a few pieces of baby girl’s nursery decor (the floral monogram “J,” and the canvas print the says “Itty, bitty and pretty”). It was so fun that they fit in with the theme — since we were going for a woodland themed baby girl shower. Think lots of florals and PINK!
I also reused the gold photo clip board from my wedding, and printed out these adorable forest animal onesie printables to display with an ultrasound photo.
We got the florals from Michael’s (seriously, take advantage of when they have 50% or 40% off sales!). They were the perfect touch for a woodland themed baby shower.
And now for the food…
Such a pretty spread! We decided to go with brunch food, since the shower was from 11 am – 1 pm.
The croissant bar was a huge hit!
French toast kabobs because of mine and Cristian’s tradition of making french toast together every Sunday…we can’t have a party without it (we had french toast cupcakes at our wedding)!
The cutest hedgehog dip and owl fruit platter!
Can you believe we got these macaroons from Costco?!
And the raspberry sherbet punch was to die for.
But the best part?
The Lavender white cake my mom made! It was so delicious, and she decorated it with some fake moss (also from Michael’s), fresh Rosemary, some berries and cinnamon sticks, and a couple of deer figurines.
She needs to make cakes more often, don’t you think?!
I’m so grateful for all the love that this little girl has been given, even though she’s not actually here yet! I’m also grateful for all the support I’ve received. This pregnancy hasn’t been easy for me, and so many friends have offered solidarity and support. I’m so excited to join the mama club!
