Owning self-confidence

I’ve struggled with self-confidence for YEARS. When I think about it — probably for the majority of my life. And it feels like as I get older, I gain confidence in areas I used to have none, and then lose it in others.  Anyone else?

However, I KNOW that most women, if not all, struggle with it too. While sad, it’s kind of nice to know I’m not alone. And it always proves that we really all have no reason not to be confident.

And to try and combat it, I do simple things.

Getting ready for the day.

Wearing an outfit I wouldn’t normally, like this one.

But I wore it and owned it.

Shirt: Old // Skirt: Ross Dress for Less // Shoes: LuLu’s

Confidence is so much more than feeling good — a huge amount of it is in our own hearts and minds, and the more we TELL ourselves we’re beautiful, the more we will believe it.
